It was nothing like the brochure advertising it. No gift shop. No walking trail. No gameroom. Rundown sites and overall not a place we'd likely ever to frequent again.
Campsites were nice and clean. The lady in charge was VERY nice. The bathrooms were clean and the
showers were hot. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because there were a lot of noisey dogs and the train. Neither are the owners fault. I would recommend this campsite to other.
I stayed here while passing through in late September. I arrived around 9pm and left at 5am. The owner did not charge me anything and wouldn't take any money. What great customer service. I highly recommend this park.
This park looks nothing like their website. We were given our Passport America discount and the $15 per night was the correct value for this park. Their customer service is good though. There are fenced mobile homes with dirt yards, litter and barking dogs. I saw 4 stray dogs running around. I wouldn't stay here again. I do commend the webmaster on a great website but it should clarify the difference between the owners intended future vision for this park and the current reality.
when I told the lady I didn't need hookups, just a place to park for the night, she said "well then I won't charge you anything, just find a place and get a good nights sleep." ... my kinda folks!
